I was wondering about the buy out of Alltel by Verizon. Does that mean that current Alltel customers will become Verizon customers? If so, when will this take place?

Re: Alltel-Verizon Integration 0 Post(s) Reply Great question. Most Alltel Wireless customers will be converted to Verizon Wireless in the upcoming months with no additional effort by the customer. However, as part of the regulatory approval process, a select number of ZIP codes in which both Alltel and Verizon Wireless offer service will not merge carriers. In other words, Alltel customers in those ZIP codes will remain Alltel customers unless they voluntarily change carriers (early termination fees may apply). For those of you that are in integrated ZIP codes, you can choose to keep your Alltel cell phone or purchase a Verizon Wireless device. If you choose to change to Verizon Wireless before the official conversion, you may face early termination fees from Alltel Wireless. Hope this helps.

Does this phone have an internet connection? WI-FI?
-Taylor

Re: Internet? 0 Post(s) Reply This phone does have Wi-Fi. But, in order to connect to the internet without Wi-Fi, you would need to add the Data feature to your monthly voice plan with Verizon.

Hello, This phone can apparently store word docs. Does it have the capability of faxing those documents? Would that fax capability require additional apps or a "plan" that includes fax service?

Does the HTC Pro sync outlook distribution lists for use in email?

Re: sync outlook features 0 Post(s) Reply If you're using a microsoft exchange server and have direct online access to the Global Address List (GAL), the address book that contains all user, group, and distribution list email addresses of your organization, then you should be able to. If not, it may not work for you.

hi i needed to know what the diffent between htc imagio and apple iphone
-trung

  • Re: cellphone 0 Post(s) Reply

Re: cellphone 0 Post(s) Reply The main difference is that the Apple iPhone runs the Apple cell phone OS and syncs with Apple and Windows PCs. The Imagio uses Windows 6.5 and only syncs with a PC.

I love the HTC Touch Pro. The features are awesome. I like the fact that if you are tired of using the touchscreen that you can just slide out the keyboard. It has two different ways of accessing the internet from Explorer or through Opera mobile. I haven't had any trouble accessing any site really. Just like a computer, but smaller. I do have trouble at times with the phone freezing up on me. I purchased this phone November 2008 and I am still finding out things about it.

I like the HTC Touch Pro. I like that you can put the phone to sleep when you aren't using it, but for some reason the phone goes to sleep when I'm on a call and I have to reactivate it so that I can hang up. Also, the alarm clock is difficult to turn off. You have to wait until it is chiming and trick the phone into giving you the option to cancel or let you have another 5-10 minutes before it chimes again. There is no place to go to do this, you just have to click on the alarm icon while the alarm is going off and hope a window opens to let you select one of those options. Once the alarm icon disappears, you have to wait until it chimes again. Otherwise, it's a great phone.
